Westport Commons is a 72 rental apartment community in the Wards Corner submarket of Norfolk, VA. It represents the final phase of the master-planned redevelopment site where the Watermark was built. Westport Commons was developed on a podium structure with garage parking and three stories of apartments above, each offering expansive water views. Amenities include a saltwater pool, outdoor gourmet kitchen with gas grills, a fitness center, kayak dock and private conference workspace.

Westport Commons represents the final phase in the comprehensive redevelopment of a 20-acre peninsula where a 1940’s apartment community stood previously. Collins master planned the entire site, which has been re-envisioned with newly constructed rental apartments, townhomes and condominiums, each positioned to take advantage of waterfront views and shared amenities along the Lafayette River. Also included on the site are 65 townhomes built by Ryan Homes.

As the culmination of a three-phase development, Westport Commons completed a vibrant residential community totaling 252 rental apartments and 65 townhomes. Westport Commons remains a long-term holding within the Collins portfolio.
