A History of Trust and Experience

The Collins real estate legacy reaches back several generations.  Arthur Collins, Sr., was a prominent New York real estate figure during the 1940’ and 50’s.  He was president of Brown, Harris, Stevens and then formed his own company called Collins and Tuttle, which developed and leased commercial buildings in New York City and Chicago and other large cities in the mid-west.  Arthur Collins, Jr. founded Collins Development in 1971 and quickly established a reputation for excellence and innovation in the New York metro area. Some of his notable projects include Lyon Farm in Greenwich, CT; Palmer Square in Princeton, NJ; Harbor Plaza in Stamford, CT; and Sono in Norwalk, CT.  Collins Capital Partners is managed by Arthur Collins III and has operated since 1991 based in the New York City area.  The business plan builds off prior generations but is focused on urban redevelopment and value-add properties both mixed-use and multi-family investments.  Collins currently has projects under way in public-private projects and owns and manages workforce housing projects along the East Coast.  Notable projects include Hudson Park, in Yonkers, The Heritage in Norfolk, VA and The James at Springline currently under construction in Chesterfield, VA.  Altogether, Collins Capital Partners has developed and managed over 2,500 apartments in the New York City region and in Virginia.
